Claire's Room and 36 weeks

Claire's room is officially ready. The only room in our house that is completely finished but it's a start!! Dave found this shelf system a couple years ago and knew it was meant to be for a baby room. It is very heavy piece of furniture, solid wood!! He painted it a perfect vibrant pink (at my request) and I love that it is so unique.

Lamps from Lowe's on clearance for $6 each, they originally had blue lamp shades but we switched those out for pink. Total cost on each lamp $11, my kind of bargain!!


Mirror from IKEA, I have had it for 2 years and it never found a spot in our home until now. I had other plans for the wall which didn't work out. I really wanted a mirror in the room and this one fits perfectly. Notice our new wood floors! :). Also, found the rug at Lowe's for $20, love it!!


Dressers Dave refinished, love them! We went back and forth about painting the room 2 colors or just one. We started out with just one color which is the bottom pink, well it was just too much by itself. So we went to plan B and toned it down with a lighter pink on top and put in the chair rail. Some mistakes are meant to be, I love how it turned out!!


This room has had a total makeover. New floors, baseboards, paint (walls, ceiling and closet), doors, light/fan fixture, blinds!! Now to finish the rest of the rooms!! :)



Full closet, Claire has gotten lots of stuff from her 4 showers!! Thanks to all our family and friends!!

36 weeks

Since I am considered high risk I am now going to the doctor weekly for checks with the doctor, ultrasound and non stress test. My typical doctor appt is 2- 2 1/2 hours, no fun since I have to go before work so that makes for a LONG day!!

*Claire is still breech. Doctor not concerned and said she can turn at any time until delivery. Let's hope so!!
*+12 lbs gained total
*All my vitals are great
*Feeling good most of the time, just get tired easier than before. Second trimester I was the energizer bunny but definitely slowing down now!!
*Left sciatic nerve bothering me now, I enjoyed no sciatic problems for 2 months but now it is the other side that hurts!! Ouch!!
*Due date still March 18. Doctor mentioned that he would be fine with me going to 41-42 weeks, I am really hoping that is not the case!!
