Weeks 38, 39 and Delivery!!

I am a few weeks behind so let's get caught up!!

38 weeks

39 weeks and 3 days, leaving for the hospital for delivery!!

I went to the doctor at 39 weeks and 2 days and was anxious to set a date for delivery. I had had contractions all weekend and was thinking I wouldn't make it through another week without going into labor. I didn't want to go into labor naturally since Claire was still breech and that would mean emergency c-section. I am the type of person that likes plans!! So the doctor said how about tomorrow? I said sure!! I went to work that day very excited and looking forward to 3/13/12!!

Welcome Baby Claire!!

Born 3/13/12 at 1959
7lbs 15 oz 19 1/4 inches

Although she measured longer (20 1/2") at her 3 day appt so I don't think they got a correct measurement at birth!
